作文比賽頒獎

2011年本會援建的兩所鄉村小學竣工後， 我們並沒有停止關注他們的學生。2011年11月，得到山西農科院的協助，向每間學校捐贈了三棵特別挑選的核桃樹苗。2012 年3月，黃土地基金再捐贈了1600 本圖書給兩所小學，每間800 本。並要求校長，舉行一項作文比賽，讓同學寫他們最喜愛的圖書，我們希望藉着這些圖書，培養孩子們閱讀的興趣和習慣，從書本認識大山外的世界。九月份，我們探望了同學們，除了頒發作文比賽的獎項，也帶了禮物送給所有師生。還跟他們一塊為核桃樹澆水。
The well-being of the pupils remains close to our heart following the completion of the reconstruction of two primary schools in 2011. With assistance of the Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, we donated three walnut saplings, all specially selected, to each school in November 201. YEF donated another 800 books to each of them in March 2012. We also requested the headmasters to hold an essay competition for the pupils to write about the books they like best. We hope to cultivate the pupils’ reading habit and interest through these books so that they may know about the world beyond their mountains. We visit these pupils in September to give away not only prizes to the winners of the competition but also presents to all teachers and pupils. We also water the walnut trees together with them.
