十年樹木，百年樹人
去年本會重建了兩所小學後，得到山西農科院協助，每校捐贈了三株優良品種的核桃樹。除了希望把好的品種，新的作物帶到當地，也寓意「十年樹木，百年樹人」。去年十一月把樹苗種下以後，得到學校上下悉心照料，現已長得欣欣向榮。Last year, the Yellow Earth Founda⋯⋯tion donated towards the reconstruction of two primary schools. With assistance of the Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, we donated three walnut trees of improved varieties to each school. Not only have we introduced new, improved varieties to the local communities, these trees also bear our vision of education: Ten Years to Grow a Tree, Hundred Years to Educate a Man. Since the saplings were planted in last November, they have been under the tender care of the schools and are flourishing well.
