捐贈圖書

2012 年3月，黃土地基金捐贈了1600 本圖書給去年重建的兩所小學，每間800 本。我們到定西那天，下了今年第一場春雨。因為天雨，這次只能探訪梁卓民紀念小學。學生都異口同聲地說，新的校舍，比舊的和暖、光亮，讓這冬季過得舒服多了。同學們得到了圖書，十分雀躍。我們希望藉着這些圖書⋯⋯，培養孩子們閱讀的興趣和習慣，並要求校長，舉行一項作文比賽，讓同學寫他們最喜愛的圖書，下次我們再來，會給他們帶來獎品。
The YEF donated 1600 books to the two schools that we reconstructed last year, 800 for each. When we arrived in Dingxi, it rained for the first time this year. Due to the rain we could only visit the Liang Zhuo Min Memorial Primary School. All students were happy that this winter they could stay in this warmer and and brighter new premises. The students were rather excited about the new books. We wish that with this donation, the children could establish an interest and habit in reading. We have asked the School Principal to organize a writing competition on their favourite book. We will bring them prizes on our next visit.
