為農民建水窖

甘肅定西市位於海拔 1700 米以上，山區的鄉村，既不接近河流，也無法取地下水，只能靠在每年短短的夏季蓄起珍貴的雨水供人和牲口飲用。黃土地基金的成員 2010 年7月到定西市考察情況，並捐款建水窖，以解小部份農民食水的厄困。
Dingxi City in Gangsu Province is situated at some 1,700 metres above sea level. Villages in mountainous areas are far away from rivers and have no access to underground water. Villagers can only rely on the small amount of rainwater collected in the short summer for human and livestock consumption. Members of Yellow Earth Foundation visited Dingxi in July 2010, and made donations to help some farmers build water tanks to alleviate their plight.
