YEF introduced a new item this year – university scholarships.  These bursaries are to be given out to students we sponsored for the past 3 years who gained entry to university and who suffer from particular hardship.  On 12 July, we conducted interviews at Dingxi No. 1 Secondary School.  The interview panel comprised YEF’s Chairman Mr. Roger Wong, CEO Mrs. Teresa Wong, Advisor Professor Lam Hon Ming and the school’s Principal Mdm Sheng Shulan.  Three students were awarded the scholarships, each of whom will receive RMB5000 each year until they graduate.
