Completion of Water Supply Project

In 2013, YEF funded a project to bring water supply into the households of three villages – Zhongzhuang, Dujiapu and Panjiawan – in Daan Township of Weiyuan County. This has solved the problem of drinking water for 240 households and their livestock.  On May 28, 2014, we inspected the completed works and visited the aided families. With the supply of tap water, the farmers have fresh water to drink and can plant some vegetables in their foreyards. Their living has thus improved considerably, although the problem of water shortage for large areas of farmland remains to be solved.
