3. Taking Delivery of the Water Pipe Project at Lujiawan Village in Luyuan Town
In 2014, YEF funded a project to connect direct water supply to households at Lujiawan Village in Luyuan Town. Water supply was connected at the end of June 2015. We visited the village on July 6 to inspect and take delivery of the project, which benefited more than 1,000 farmers in 210 families. Water from the tap has brought huge convenience to the villagers. A 73-year-old lady told the Chairman that she had never dreamt of having tap water at home. She was exceedingly happy!
