Distributing University Scholarships and High School Sponsorship 2013
YEF continues to give financial assistance to our sponsored students at Longxi No. 1 Secondary School and Dingxi No. 1 Secondary School who successfully gained entry to university. This year, 14 of the 39 Dingxi students sitting the university entrance examination received our Mai Luo Run Wo Scholarship. The results at Longxi were particularly impressive as 91 of the 100 students sitting the examination were rewarded a pass. Eventually 84 entered university, many of them in medical schools and other professional faculties. They were also awarded Mai Luo Run Wo Scholarship. One of them has won a full scholarship from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is now studying there.
