Donors’ visit to Gansu
In September 2011, a number of YEF’s donors joined out visit to Dingxi City of Gansu Province. On 10 September 2011, they attended the ceremony of completion of two schools that YEF had made donations, namely, Liang Zuo Min Memorial Primary School and Liang Ou Yi Memorial Primary School.
The group also visited Dingxi Number One Secondary School and Longxi Number One Secondary School and distributed scholarships to students of of these schools. On 11 September we took 100 students of the Longxi Secondary School on a one day visit of Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province. This is to allow these young people who grew up in the farming villages to expand their horizons and get a taste of city life.
