This is the Jiang’an River which flows through Sichuan University.
Although it is already ten o’clock in the morning, the morning tranquillity still permeates the campus. Walking alone on the campus and stopping from time to time, I can appreciate the scenery that belongs to me at this moment through the fragrance of the green leaves. How pleasant this moment is!

At the end of the military training activities on the first day, I was exhausted. The programme for night training was “la ge” and we didn’t understand what it was until we were there – we looked at each other, sat together and sang together. That was the most unrestrained freedom and the simplest joy.
At the end of the military training on the last day, we once again held a “la ge” activity in the evening. What used to be complaints turned into the best blessings at that moment, and our hearts were soft as though we were with our close relatives.
When the evening training was over, I walked along the centre line of the school road. On the left were withering autumn leaves; on the right were bright street lamps. Things and people remained unchanged. Vigour has always been synonymous with youth.

In your impression, does Xinjiang sprawl over a vast area of deserts and is severely short of water? One has to go to school through a long stretch of desert? People live on flocks of sheep on the hillside? That’s wrong!
The attractive part of Xinjiang happens to be in an oasis of the desert, and the rivers bred by the Tianshan Mountains ensure efficient irrigation. With the nation’s major irrigation areas, Xinjiang’s production of long-staple cotton, tomatoes and lavender occupies an important position in the world… Without a true understanding of Xinjiang, all sorts of speculations are likely to remain in an outdated perspective.

I love flowers, and I always take out my phone to take pictures of beautiful flowers. This is hibiscus, the city flower of Chengdu. I think flowers may be the most beautiful thing in this world. Seeds break out of their shells in the dark and humid soil to grow, constantly absorbing nutrients and water. No matter whether the surrounding conditions are good or bad, plants always try their best to blossom and bear fruit. Perhaps this is the power of life.
I am in the fourth year of university and I am preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination. My current career plan is to work in a research institute in my hometown. I want to pursue stability. But I also very much hope to be able to engage in my professional counterparts, to use what I have learned to show my worth and to make humble contribution to society within my ability.
San Mao once said,” I would like to be a tree in my next life, half in the peaceful earth and half blowing in the wind.” I don’t talk about the past easily. I always look forward to the future, hoping to be a flower with a solid foundation to show off my “beauty”!

Today is October 18, 2020. We held a ceremony to mark the beginning of school and we solemnly swore to dedicate ourselves to medicine. I have officially become a student of Shanxi Medical University. We are dressed in white and, though in different majors, are all preparing for future medical work.
White robes are our “school uniform” and are more of a responsibility. I will abide by our oath, abide by medical ethics, to save people from death and help the injured.

It is an honour to represent the university’s incubation company in the finals of the Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. It is my first time to participate in such a high-level competition, and it is also my first time to meet and answer investors’ questions face to face. This is great training for myself. I have achieved the second place in the team representing the Harbin Institute of Technology. I am very happy with such a result.
After the competition, I take the opportunity to look around Shenzhen. I feel that it is a modern metropolis. I also feel the truly fast tempo of life. Everyone is busy at work and the cultural atmosphere is relatively thin.
Looking at Hong Kong from Shenzhen Bay, I hope to set foot on it before long so that I may visit the aunts and uncles of the Yellow Earth Foundation.

In my memory, the last time when heaps of books were laid in front of me and when everyone in the study room got his head down was in the third year of high school. Now I am preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination! I will go all out and hope to have no regret for this period of time when I look back. 😉
In the library where I sit, there is a large floor-to-ceiling window. I can see nightfall and rushing people coming and going outside the window. It looks like the days are not so long. When I feel sleepy, I will go to the rooftop to read aloud. I will then feel very relaxed.
My life in the past was shaped by my parents, and my vision and experience may not be very rich. My current thinking is that when I graduate, I will have to create my own life. How I wish to graduate soon. 😊
